Sessions With Me

Before you consider working with me…

You've made it this far — and that already tells me something about you.

You're someone who does her research. Who thinks carefully before she commits. Who wants to make sure that if she's going to do this, she's going to do it with the right person.

So before you book anything, read on. I want you to have everything you need to decide whether working together feels right for you — because this only works if it does.

How we work together

The phone call first

Before your first session, we'll have a short 15 minute phone call — and it's completely free.

This call has one purpose: clarity. By the end of it, you'll know whether I'm the right fit for you, and I'll know whether I'm genuinely the right person to help you. I'll ask you to share a little about what's brought you here and what you're hoping to experience through therapy. There's no pressure and no wrong answers — it's simply a conversation so we can both feel good about taking the next step together.

If we both feel it's a yes, we'll book your first session. If it's not the right fit, I'll help you find someone who is. Either way, you'll leave that call with more clarity than you had before.

What we actually work on

Most people come to therapy looking for tools and strategies to manage what they're feeling. And while those things absolutely have their place, what I'm most passionate about is going deeper than the symptoms — to understand why they're there in the first place.

Think of it this way: if someone is losing blood, we can give them a transfusion to stabilise them. But what we really need to know is why they're losing blood at all — and fix that. Therapy works the same way. Your anxiety, your exhaustion, your disconnection — these aren't the problem. They're the signal. And that's what we work on together.

This isn't quick fix territory. This is the real work. The kind that creates change that actually lasts. T

Your first session

Your first session is 50 minutes and it works a little differently to the ones that follow.

I'll be listening carefully — not just to what you're saying, but to what I'm hearing underneath it. By the end of our time together, I'll share my observations with you: what I'm noticing, what might be contributing to what you're experiencing, and a possible path forward.

This is also your opportunity to experience what it actually feels like to be in the room with me — because the relationship between us matters enormously. Therapy isn't one size fits all, and neither are therapists. If at the end of our first session you feel like I'm not quite your person, no hard feelings at all. Genuinely. I'd rather you find the right fit than stay somewhere that doesn't feel right. And if I don't think I'm the best person to support you, I'll tell you honestly and help you find someone who is.

The commitment I’d recommend

If we decide to move forward together, I recommend booking your first four sessions upfront.

Not because it's a rule — but because real change rarely happens in a single conversation. Booking those sessions in advance means your time is protected, your momentum is maintained, and you give yourself a genuine opportunity to experience what's possible. Four sessions is enough time to start going beneath the surface — and that's where the real shifts begin.

Sessions are 50 minutes and held online. For information about fees and Medicare rebates, head to the FAQs.

Ready to find out if we are a good fit?

The first step is a free 15 minute phone call — no commitment, no pressure, just an honest conversation to see if working together feels right.

If it does, we'll take it from there. If it doesn't, you'll still leave with more clarity than you arrived with. Either way, you win. 😊

Currently accepting online clients — Monday to Thursday, 9:30am to 5pm.

Wondering if what you're carrying is something we can work with together?

The women I work with don't always arrive with a neat explanation of what's wrong. Sometimes they just know something needs to change — and they're not quite sure yet what that something is.

If you're curious about the specific areas I work in most deeply — from anxiety and perfectionism to burnout, relationships, and the quiet grief of a life that looks right but doesn't quite feel it — the next page is for you.

Not as a checklist. Not as a diagnosis. Just as a gentle mirror to help you recognise yourself.
