You’ve found the right place
You're not here because something is wrong with you.
You're here because you're intelligent enough to know that the way you're living right now isn't the full version of what's possible for you — and honest enough to admit it.
Maybe you've been functioning beautifully on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside. Maybe you've achieved everything you thought would make you happy and you're still waiting to feel it. Maybe you've spent so long taking care of everyone else that you've completely lost track of what you actually need.
Whatever brought you here — you're in the right place.
Below you'll find the areas I work in most deeply. You might recognise yourself in one of them. You might recognise yourself in all of them. Either way, I want you to know — none of this makes you broken. It makes you human. And it makes you exactly the kind of person I love working with.

Burnout
Description You're still functioning. That's actually part of the problem.
Because burnout in high functioning women rarely looks like falling apart. It looks like continuing to show up, continuing to deliver, continuing to hold everything together — while quietly running on fumes so refined you've forgotten what it feels like to have genuine energy.
You might have been here for months. Possibly years. The tiredness has become so familiar it feels like your baseline. The things that used to excite you now just feel like more things to get through. You've lost the thread of what you actually enjoy, what you actually want, what actually matters to you beneath all the doing and achieving and managing and showing up.
And the cruelest part? From the outside you look completely fine. So nobody thinks to ask. And you're so practiced at functioning that you don't know how to stop even when every cell in your body is asking you to.
Burnout isn't weakness. It isn't poor time management. It isn't solved by a holiday or a weekend of self-care. It's what happens when an intelligent, capable, deeply committed woman has spent too long giving from a well that was never properly refilled — and has slowly, quietly lost connection with herself in the process.
Together we work to understand what's been driving the depletion, what you've been abandoning in yourself to keep everything else going, and how to rebuild a relationship with your own energy that's sustainable, nourishing and genuinely yours. goes here

Anxiety
You think of yourself as someone who has it together. And mostly, you do.
But underneath that capable exterior your mind never really stops. There's a constant low hum of worry running in the background — what ifs and worst cases and mental rehearsals of conversations that haven't happened yet. You lie awake at 3am solving problems that don't exist. You second-guess decisions you've already made. You brace for things to go wrong even when everything is fine.
For some women anxiety is loud and obvious. For others — especially high functioning women — it's so woven into daily life that it just feels like personality. "I'm just a worrier." "I'm just a planner." "I just like to be prepared."
But exhausting yourself managing an anxiety that never fully quiets isn't just how life has to be.
Together we work to understand what your anxiety is actually protecting you from — and gently, carefully, begin to loosen its grip.
-
Depression
You still get up. You still show up. You still tick the boxes.
But somewhere along the way something went quiet inside you — and you can't quite remember when you last felt genuinely okay. Not performing okay. Not "I'm fine" okay. Actually okay.
Maybe it's a heaviness that follows you everywhere and you can't explain why. Maybe it's the absence of things that used to light you up. Maybe it's the creeping suspicion that this flatness is just... who you are now.
It isn't.
Depression rarely announces itself dramatically. More often it arrives quietly, slowly dimming the colour of everything until one day you realise you can't remember the last time you felt truly alive.
Together we explore what's underneath that dimness — not to fix you, but to understand you. Because when we understand what's driving it, real change becomes possible. Curious about what might be contributing to your depression? You can read the article here.

Perfectionism
You have extraordinarily high standards. For your work, for yourself, for how you show up in the world.
And those standards have served you — they're part of why you're as capable and accomplished as you are. But there's a cost that nobody talks about. The exhaustion of never quite reaching the bar you've set for yourself. The paralysis of not starting things because you can't guarantee they'll be done perfectly. The relentless inner critic that turns every achievement into evidence of what still needs to be better.
Perfectionism isn't really about standards. It's about safety. It's the belief — usually formed long before you had the words for it — that your worth is conditional. That love, approval and belonging need to be earned through performance.
That's an exhausting way to live. And you've been living it for a very long time.
Together we gently unpack where your perfectionism came from, what it's been protecting you from, and how to build an identity that doesn't depend on getting everything right.
-
Self Esteem
On paper your life looks impressive. Your achievements are real. Your capabilities are undeniable.
And yet there's a voice — persistent, familiar, quietly devastating — that tells you it's not enough. That you're not enough. That one day someone is going to figure out that you've been faking it all along.
You hold yourself to standards you would never dream of applying to someone you love. You minimise your wins and magnify your failures. You seek reassurance and then immediately discount it. You achieve the next thing hoping this will be the one that finally makes you feel worthy — and it never quite is.
Low self-esteem in high functioning individuals is one of the most misunderstood and underestimated experiences I work with — because from the outside, nothing looks wrong. But you know. You feel it every day.
Together we go beneath the achievements and the capable exterior to understand where this belief about yourself came from — and begin the work of building something more true.

Emotional Dysregulation
You don't always understand why you react the way you do.
Something happens — often something small, something that rationally shouldn't matter that much — and suddenly you're flooded. Overwhelmed by a feeling that seems completely disproportionate to the situation. Or the opposite happens: you go completely numb, shut down, disconnect from everything around you and move through the rest of your day on autopilot.
And then comes the shame. Because you're intelligent, you're capable, you understand people — so why can't you manage your own emotions?
Here's what nobody told you: emotional dysregulation isn't a character flaw. It's a nervous system response. It's what happens when a highly sensitive, deeply feeling person has spent years learning to either suppress what she feels or be overwhelmed by it — with very little experience of the regulated middle ground where life actually feels liveable.
Your emotions aren't too much. They never were. You simply never had the right support to learn how to be with them.
Together we work to understand your nervous system, identify your triggers, and slowly, carefully build your capacity to feel everything without being consumed by it.
-
Anger
Anger gets a bad reputation. Especially for women.
You've probably spent a lifetime learning to manage it, suppress it, redirect it into something more acceptable — productivity, perfectionism, relentless self-improvement. Or maybe it comes out sideways, in moments of frustration that feel disproportionate and leave you feeling ashamed afterwards.
What very few people tell you is that anger is not the problem. Anger is information. It's your psyche's way of telling you that a boundary has been crossed, a need has gone unmet, or something deeply important to you is being violated.
The question isn't how to get rid of your anger. The question is what your anger is trying to tell you — and whether you're finally ready to listen.
Together we explore what lives underneath your anger, what it's been protecting, and how to work with it rather than against it.
-
Relationships
You give a lot in your relationships. Probably more than most people realise — including you.
You're the one who remembers, who checks in, who holds things together. You're emotionally present, deeply loyal, endlessly patient. And yet somehow you often end up feeling unseen, under-appreciated, or quietly lonely even in the middle of connection.
Maybe your relationships follow a pattern you can't quite break. Maybe you find it easier to give than to receive. Maybe you know what everyone else needs but struggle to articulate what you need yourself.
Relationships are where our deepest patterns live — the ones formed long before we had the language to understand them. And they're also where the most profound healing happens.
Together we explore the patterns that have shaped how you connect, what gets in the way of the intimacy and reciprocity you deserve, and how to show up in your relationships from a place of genuine wholeness rather than depletion.

Sexual & Intimacy Issues
Intimacy requires something that many of us struggle with — the willingness to be truly seen.
Not the capable version of you. Not the together version. The real, unguarded, fully present version.
Maybe you find it easier to be physically present than emotionally vulnerable. Maybe desire has quietly disappeared and you're not sure when or why. Maybe there's a disconnect between who you are in the rest of your life and who you feel able to be in your most intimate moments. Maybe shame, past experiences, or simply never having been given permission to know and express what you actually want has left you feeling disconnected from this part of yourself.
This is usually one of the most tender and least talked about areas of an individual’s inner life — and it deserves the same curiosity and compassion as everything else.
Together we explore your relationship with intimacy, desire and vulnerability from a psychological and emotional lens — gently, without judgment, and entirely at your pace.

Grief & Loss
Grief doesn't always look the way we expect it to.
Yes, it comes with death — the profound, disorienting loss of someone whose absence reshapes everything. But grief also comes with the end of relationships, the loss of identity, the quiet mourning of the life you thought you'd have by now. It comes with the gap between who you were and who you've become. It comes with the things that were never said, never resolved, never given the chance to be different.
And it doesn't follow a timeline. It doesn't move in neat stages. It shows up uninvited at the most inconvenient moments and demands to be felt.
If you've been trying to manage your grief rather than move through it — or if you've been wondering why you're struggling with a loss that others seem to think you should be over by now — you don't have to carry that alone.
Together we create space for your grief to be witnessed, understood and honoured — in whatever form it takes.

Life Transitions
Some transitions you choose. Some choose you.
A new relationship or the end of one. Becoming a mother or navigating an empty nest. A career change, a move, a diagnosis, a birthday that hits differently than you expected. The quiet but profound shift of realising that the life you've been living no longer fits — and not yet knowing what comes next.
Transitions are disorienting even when they're wanted. They ask you to let go of a version of yourself before the new one has fully arrived. And that in-between space — where the old no longer works but the new hasn't taken shape yet — can feel isolating, confusing and surprisingly grief-filled.
High functioning women often struggle most in transitions not because they lack resilience, but because they've built their identity so completely around doing and achieving that any pause in forward momentum feels like failure.
It isn't failure. It's becoming.
Together we navigate the in-between — making sense of where you've been, getting clear on what you actually want, and finding your footing in the next version of your life.

Career Direction
You've worked hard to get where you are. You're good at what you do. People respect you, rely on you, value your contribution.
And yet something feels off. Maybe it's a quiet restlessness that's been growing for a while. Maybe it's the Sunday night dread that no amount of self-talk can shake. Maybe you've achieved everything your career was supposed to deliver — the title, the salary, the impact — and you're still waiting to feel fulfilled.
Or maybe you're at a genuine crossroads. A career that made sense at 25 no longer makes sense at 38. The version of success you've been chasing turns out to belong to someone else's dream. And figuring out what you actually want — beneath the conditioning, the expectations, the identity you've built around what you do — feels both urgent and completely overwhelming.
Career direction work isn't about updating your CV or finding a new industry. It's about getting honest with yourself about what truly matters to you, what you're actually here to contribute, and what a life that feels genuinely meaningful looks like from the inside out.
Together we do exactly that — with curiosity, clarity and absolutely no pressure to have it all figured out before you're ready.
You don't have to have it all figured out to take the first step.
If something on this page resonated — even quietly, even just a flicker of recognition — that's enough.
You don't need to arrive with the perfect words or a clear explanation of what's wrong. You just need to be willing to explore. The rest we figure out together.
The first step is a free 15 minute phone call. No commitment, no pressure — just an honest conversation to see if working together feels right.
